Melanie Talastas-Soriano is truly an excellent trainer. She is the perfect combination of motivator and educator. From the very first session, I was so impressed with Melanie. She instills confidence and encouragement and definitely makes you want to work harder and push yourself further. Melanie’s personality is so infectious and she makes our workouts fun! I really appreciate that she tries to relate each session to something I do on the agility course as a handler. She will clearly explain what we are going to do and how it will benefit my running style – she really goes that extra mile! In the short time I have been working out with Melanie, I can already see an improvement.

I met Melanie a few years ago after being in a car accident. After a discussion with my MPI adjuster he suggested I try an athletic therapist. Melanie not only treats my injuries but gives me exercises to stay strong and pain free. Previous to my car accident, I often suffered from back pain. Now I have a library of exercises to do whenever my back acts up. My family and I do Zumba and Boot camp with Mel. Mel has treated my kids, my husband, and co-workers; always with great results. You will also find Mel’s classes challenging and fun whatever your level of fitness.

I started training with Mel at Insahyu Training & Therapy in September of 2012. I have lost 53 pounds since I started training with Mel and have gotten a home program that she designed. I have liked working with Mel because it is one on one so it is more personalize to what you need. She makes sure that you feel like she is always involved. She always asks for updates and e-mails me to see how I am doing on my program. I also like the home program that she has given me. She takes the time to show me how to do all the exercises on my program so that I know how to do each exercises. I enjoy seeing her every week for my personal training sessions and Zumba.
