Ankle mobility is important because it will affect how well you move. It can change your GAIT, how you RUN, your ability to SQUAT and so much more. Our ankles link our feet to the rest of our body, so their function is essential in all weight-bearing movements.
When ankle mobility is restricted, our body will find other ways to complete movements with compensations. These compensatory movements often lead to injuries, pain and tightness.
