It helped when you mentioned that plantar fasciitis is the most common cause of heel pain in many people. I have a cousin who is an athlete who mentioned a few days ago that his heel injury is taking too long to heal, and he asked if I had any idea what would be the best treatment to consider. I love this enlightening article, I'll be sure to tell him that consulting a trusted podiatrist can help provide the proper care for his heel pain.

Thanks for helping me understand that there are custom foot orthotics that can correct your foot mechanics and help you daily when you wear them in your shoes. A friend of mine might need this kind of heel pain treatment, because she thinks that she is flat-footed. She has noticed that she can get really uncomfortable after long walks ever since we were teens, and she hopes this can be corrected so that she can be more active at her age now.

It got me when you discussed that seeking early treatment allows you to avoid the chronic effects. My friend has been complaining about her heel pain. I should advise her to look for a clinic that specializes in heel pain treatment.
